Leale’s is a well-established, fast-growing complete RV center focused on high-quality results. We are looking for an individual interested in joining one of Northern California’s largest and most comprehensive RV service and repair centers as an RV Chassis Technician who would like to grow with the company.
What do you need to be part of the Leale's technician family?
- Interest in doing a variety of tasks (automotive, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, welding, etc.). We do it all at Leale's!
- Interest in working on a variety of recreational vehicles (motor homes, trailers, 5th wheels, campers, etc.), especially motor homes. Primarily chassis work.
- Desire to be part of a close-knit team of professionals dedicated to high quality work and outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Strong work ethic.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Interest in continually learning new things.
Duties:
- Work independently or with other technicians to service or repair all elements of recreational vehicles.
- Examine, troubleshoot, and diagnose RVs needing repair and/or maintenance.
- Mainly RV chassis work: repair or replace brakes, axles, transmissions, engines, electrical systems, steering, and suspension, etc.
- Some standard coach work (opportunity for additional experience with electrical and plumbing systems, roofs, awnings, etc.).
- Move/drive vehicles to be repaired.
- Keep accurate records on repair orders for work done.
Required:
- Knowledge/experience working on all types of RVs.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and electronic test equipment.
- Valid driver's license.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (with assist devices, if needed).
Desired:
- Minimum of five years of RV or heavy truck service or repair experience.
- RVIA Technician Certification.
- RV tech experience for both chassis and coach.
- Handyman skills a plus.
